Emily Bronte and Ann Radcliffe were two
famous writers in the literary world, and they grew up together. After watching
the two videos, I think their father, Patrick, the initiator of Gothic
Literature, influenced them a lot. Obviously, Patrick concentrated on educating
his children, and finally, all of the family members were knowledgeable enough,
which they sat together spending spare time by reading politics, geography, and
history books. The entire family’s story is tragic, even though they donate
their life to literature. The ending is somehow similar to the gothic style
that contains negative thoughts mostly.
